I click any of my icons to open Firefox or IE and they do not open. Everytime I try to open it, I get a process added to the process list in task manager as if it opens, however, it never pops up so that I can use it. The only browser that works is Netscape.....which I dont like that much. How can I solve this? Thanks in advance.

The same thing is happening to me. For me, it is because there is spyware making it so Firefox only opens when I close the 6-letter.exe in Hijack This, but it always comes back after I restart.

Your log was posted at 11:45 a.m. today. The hijack this logs are looked at when helpers become available. I see that Kat cleaned you up several months ago. What happened since then? Did you update windows to sp2? That would have helped.

It would have helped to update to sp2 after you were cleaned up. It is not recommended to update to SP2 unless you are clean.
