Ok, I have a disc for xp proffesional. I am running the disc as a boot-up and it works fin until when the computer restarts it says that NTDLR is missing!! I can run my computer in any mode. But its at the last stage when it restarts and the message appears!!

Refer this MS article.

BTW... its NTLDR not NTDLR

Ok, i'm now trying windos xp home, but this time the screen says that it is searching for your computers hardware configurations and stays like that for ages and never changes why??
