I have a number of pivot tables based on source data which includes hundreds of entries with people's names. On occassions when I receive new data from other offices I identify spelling mistakes in existing source data and correct them. After a pivot table refresh the results appear as corrected.

The problem is that when I use the field drop down filter both the new correct data and the old data which no longer exists appear.

I am looking for any advice to update the drop down list without having to create a new pivot table.

Thanks
David
