Hello anyone out there,
There are a few .avi files on my computer and when i try to delete them the explorer window freezes up and crashes. Each time the error messafe says dr. watson post mortem crashed.
How do i delete them?
And is there a problem that needs fixing?
Thanks

first run a checkdisk on your drive (start, run, cmd. then type in "chkdsk c: /r" without the quotes.

if this doesn't fix the issue then we may have to use a file deleting program like "pocket kill box".

Hello,
Sorry i took so long
I did the scan and it said no problems found.
Also every time i close a windows explorer window drwtsn crashes and sometimes even takes out unrelated programs like limewire. :tazz:
i still cant delete the files and it would seem the problem is growing!
Thanks for replying

ok, going out on a limb here but lets try this. go to http://www.ewido.com/. Download and install ewido. launch the program and update the definitions. reboot in safe mode and run the virus scan. copy and past the log file here.
