cooledit 2000 play problem

When playing wav files, my cooledit 2000 (running on xp) just stops playing and goes back to the start line after every 10-20 seconds of normal running.
It does not do so when recording, or when playing mp3 files.

This is annoying when working on large files!

Any ideas about what this can be?

Try re-installing the application and try again. If the problem persists, let me know.
