:help: Oh gosh, Im not very computer savy... :tazz:

I am running on windows ME and decided to do a windows update from the microsoft website. I downloaded a whole bunch of stuff microsoft said my computer needed, including an update for lucent modem (a driver ... I think). When the install for this driver was done it asked if it could remove lucent windows modem, I got a fright and pushed NO. I rebooted, and restarted. Now when I try to go online i get Error 630, The modem is not responding properly. I went through the windows modem trouble shooter, but nothing on there was any help to me. When I ran a diagnostic on the modem settings it says port open??? ;) ;) Please any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
