I have heard that you need some certain tools from the symantac website to remove Norton....if you don't you will have trouble later.... Is that true? Has anyone just used add/remove programs and had trouble? Thanks much :tazz:

there shouldn't be any trouble - it should all be able to be removed when you want it to

the thing is that you must make sure it's not running in the background before you remove it - therefore enter windows in safe mode and remove it using Add/Remove Programs in the Control panel window
