Can anyone help me? Whenever I start Internet Exlorer, my desired start page will not load. I get the error message, Action cancelled or Page not found. After about 20 seconds, it then loads http://a-search.biz/?wmid=1010. I have tried tried Ad-Aware, SpyBot search and destroy and several others. It does not matter what I set my start page to and it always loads this. I have included the latest HyJackThis log file.

Any help will be appreciated.......

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time. I missed this the first time around sorry.

Apply the update, reboot, and go here to this link and apply all critical windows updates except service pack 2.

Spyware and viruses interfere with the installation of service pack 2 and you will have another world of problems if this is installled before we remove the spyware.

I can see a bunch of stuff that needs to go, but without the service pack it will just come back so I can't have you remove it yet until sp1a is applied cuz we'll just have to remove it again.
