I have run all the suggested software and removed a bunch of stuff already, but still have the desktop blue screen and warming message and IE home address is not correct.

Please move your hijack this to a permanent location by doing the following:

Step 1-
1.Set up a folder by doing the following.
To create a folder:
Click My Computer, then C:\
In the menu bar, File->New->Folder.
That will create a folder named "New Folder", which you can rename to "HJT" or "HijackThis".
Now you have C:\HJT\ folder.

2. Please then move your hijackthis.exe into this folder but do not run a new scan yet, there are a couple of things that we need to do first.

Step 2-

Please run an on-line virus scan at Kaspersky OnLine Scan or if that doesnt work, you can use TrendMicro or BitDefender. (Please post the results of the scan(s) in your next reply)

Step 3-

Then please go to the folder where hijack this is located and run a new scan then post the hijackthis and virus scan log back in to this thread.
