Hello,

I bought a pc with a SCSI HDD. The HD is not detected.

specifications for the pc are as follows:
P4, 512 RAM, 3 GHZ processor speed, 160 GB SCSI HDD.

There are 2 SATA connections, with 1 currently connected to the HDD.

The problem is that the HDD is not even detected in the bios. I can start the pc with WIN XP installation disk, but can not detect the disk.

Help.

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. I found this basic guide to HD install and setup that includes info in scsi: http://www.pcmech.co...w/harddrive/43/
Did you get a manual with this computer? It should have information on how to set this scsi up.
