Hi,

;)

I have been having trouble the past week or so when i am connected to the internet, now and again I will just be diconnected automatically.

I get a balloon message saying DSL cable unplugged? (or something similar) It doesn't happen all the time but you can be sure it will happen when i am working on something important :tazz:.

It will disconnect me any time not just on any particular website or any particular timeframe.

This is my home computer and it is not networked.

Can anyone help me?

;)

Have you got any drivers for the modem? Try reinstalling them.

Some modems have the bad habit of shutting down when they get hot. Or maybe good habit, it protects them. You may want to put it where more air can get to it for better cooling.
