Hi, having probs with a ( NET PC ) pentium2, 300MHz, AMIBIOS, AMERICAN MEGATRENDS.On start up checks memory runs through Says Searching for
Boot record from IDE-0..OK under that it's got invalid system disk Replace disk and press any key.I have tryed booting from floppy 95 and 98 boot disk,(I would like to load 98 on this computer) But just says invalid sys replace disk?So then i tryed to get in to set up but when pressing del on boot up the set up flashes on the screen and then the monitor goe's on stand by.So i canot even change to boot from cdrom.Dont know what OS is on it.
ANY input would be helpfull at this time

You could get invalid disk if there is a floppy in when you boot, or the disk is not clean.

Try booting with a 98 CD in and tapping the enter key while it boots to see if it gives you the option to load from the CD

Do you get anything if you tap the F8 key when it boots

1) try reboot and hold down the control key
if no luck
2) reboot and keep tapping the F5 key

you sure your 98 boot dis is ok is it a floppy?

Yep floppys good had allready downloaded from there and has been used on other computers

one beep as (invalid system disk
