Biggest problem with MSN Messenger

Hi I am singed into my messengere and after 5 mins I automatically get signed out and get this following messege
"Your connection with the .NET Messenger service has been lost. Reconnecting in xx:xx"

Can anyone please help :tazz: ?

I've got the same problem since the beginning of September.... (about 2 and a half months now)

Rarely, I have no problems.

Occasionally, I get disconnected at about every 5 minutes.

I'm behind a DLINK home router.

I heard the problems came from Microsoft's side... I don't think so though.... I don't have problems anywhere else.

is messenger the only internet based program that disconnects on you? do you have issues with IE? or any other web browser?

only msn

the problem occurs under fedora too, so i guess its a problem with ports on my router ... but if the port was closed... i wouldnt be able to connect

im not behind any firewall

i'm using NAT
