I tried to clean with yahoo toolbar, and spybot search & destroy, and I'm still infected with something. I've also got this neo toolbar thing that I can't get rid of. Here's my HJT log. Thanks!

Correct. But the log is so long that it all doesn't fit in the notpad window you have to scroll down. I suggest clicking "edit" and then click "select all" this will insure you have selected the whole thing. You are still missing the bottom of it. Just post back with the whole log when you can.

Hmmm you're right it is the same. Usually there is it goes longer than the 04's. Did you do a new scan with hijack this before you saved it. Try scanning one more time and saving that and see if it is any longer, if it isn't just tell us and we'll work with this one. I just want to make sure we don't miss a bunch of stuff that still leaves you infected because we weren't able to see it.

Thanks,

When you re-post instructions, could you explain the safe mode thing a little more thouroughly? I don't understand how I'm suppose to find the bad files.

Please run a free online virus scan here (tick the "Auto Clean" checkbox):
http://housecall.antivirus.com/

And a free trojan scan here:
http://www.moosoft.com/

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

Please save Hijack This in a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Please reboot into safe mode - How do I boot into "Safe" mode?.
Be sure you're able to view hidden files. Click "Start" click "My Computer" double click your Hard Drive (ususlly c:\) and browse to the following files and folders and remove the following in bold (if found):
For example double click c:\, double click windows, double click system, scroll down until you see "DWEZDUE.EXE" and right click it and click delete. After doing all of these files and folders found in bold empty your recycle bin.

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\DWEZDUE.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IEHOST34.EXE
C:\PROGRAM FILES\AUTOUPDATE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IR3API.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IR_CAP.EXE
C:\PROGRAM FILES\CXTPLS
C:\WINDOWS\ALL USERS\APPLICATION DATA\SETUP\SETUP.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\MXTARGET.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSQSB.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\ALCHEM.exe
IR3API.EXE run a search for this one. Maybe in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32
IR_CAP.EXE same with this one

reboot normally and post fresh log.

You definitely need to run the online virus scan I posted last time. You have a virus .

Follow the instructions here to turn off system restore.
http://service1.syma...src=sec_doc_nam

Next:
Reboot into safe mode and then run hijack this and remove the following entries.

O2 - BHO: Neo Toolbar - {722E8B26-1C44-460F-88BB-50C82B20E30E} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSQSB.DLL
O3 - Toolbar: Neo Toolbar - {722E8B26-1C44-460F-88BB-50C82B20E30E} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSQSB.DLL

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Win Server Updt] C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe
http://www.sophos.co...rojimiserv.html This is a link to a page about your virus.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [pn9k36i] IR3API.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [kyllmrzyvm] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\DWEZDUE.EXE

Delete the files found in bold (still in safe mode)

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSQSB.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe
IR3API.EXE Run a search for this and delete it.
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\DWEZDUE.EXE

reboot normally and post another log. If they don't disappear after doing everything in safe mode I have another idea or two to get rid of these.

You have a trojan that keeps replicating in different forms. Please follow Jonnyrotten's advice.

Run The Cleaner. It can be downloaded at:
http://www.moosoft.com/

Run the online virus scan. Before doing both:

Follow the instructions here to turn off system restore.
http://service1.syma...src=sec_doc_nam

After you run the cleaner and online virus scan:

Please delete your temporary files by deleting all files and folders that are in those folders (do not delete the temp folder itself) like for example
C:\WINDOWS\Temp\
C:\Temp\
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\
Also delete your Temporary Internet Files, be sure to also select delete all offline content.

Next:
Reboot then run hijack this and remove the following entries.

O2 - BHO: Setup.Setup1 - {2E65A557-173C-4DE9-860B-28FC5CACA542} - C:\WINDOWS\ALL USERS\APPLICATION DATA\SETUP\SETUP.DLL
O2 - BHO: Neo Toolbar - {722E8B26-1C44-460F-88BB-50C82B20E30E} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSQSB.DLL

O3 - Toolbar: Neo Toolbar - {722E8B26-1C44-460F-88BB-50C82B20E30E} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSQSB.DLL

Reboot into safe mode and remove this entry

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSQSB.DLL

Delete your temp. files again. Post a new log.

Looks like its still there, must be a good one! I didn't find much in the temporary files, only one file in one folder.
