Quicktime causing crashes

When i view a trailer using quicktime in internet explorer, internet explorer stops responding.

I have Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 1.

first uninstall quiktime then install sp2

I had SP2, uninstalled it recently, any other solutions?

I had SP1 before with quicktime, that didnt work so i installed SP2 but that made other stuff worse so then i uninstalled SP2. I haven't reinstalled/uninstalled quicktime.

Try reinstalling quicktime then.

uninstall quicktime...install sp2 then put quicktime back
