OK, I can't find anything wrong in this log. You ran both virus scans right (TrendMicro and Panda)?

Is the computer slow generally or is it just slow online?

Did you install any new software/hardware or make any seting changes before this happened? Was it slow before we did the fixes?

Yes, ran both and nothing picked up.

Online speed seems fine it is the CPU processing speed that has become really slow. Booting up takes much longer and doing simple things like opening Word or Explorer takes much longer than before.

Also, when online using things like MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger, it takes a lot longer to open or close IM windows.

It was slow before we did the fixes. Essentially, ever since I ran all the anti virus programmes have had problems. So that was since running a combination of Cleanup!, Ad Aware-SE, CW Shredder, Spybot S&D, Ewido, AVG and Trojan hunter. Also, seem to remember running one freeware programme for the registry to clean it up - think it was called Registry Manager or Registry Mechanic(but not sure of name).

Also tried restoring my PC to an earlier point but did not work, so tried a few things before posting my hijack this file on here.

I can't find anything that could be causing this slowdown. You don't have many programs running at startup either. How much RAM do you have installed on this computer?

Try uninstalling Ewido and restart to see if the speed improved. If not, maybe it's time for a defrag?
