Hi peeps, hope you can help, had this problem for months now. PC is fine until I try to play video or other media files or play games. I have tried different media players, happens with them all, stalls pc after playing part of movie. Local shop checked and said all hardware is ok.

I am running XP Pro with SP2 and have it set to auto install updates daily

I have run Spybot Search and destroy, virus scans, trojan scans etc and system seems clean

Windows error report says its a Driver problem but doesnt say which driver

I wonder if its my Nvidia Geforce2 MC/MX 400 graphics card and the Nvidia driver as it used to work fine, though I cant recall which version of the driver I was using before this problem.

I also suspect that the BIOS needs updating as its over 2 years old,but I dont know where to begin with that

What do you guys think?

Cheers in advance for any pointers
