I posted on another thread about changing my IP address, is there a way to change the hard coded Ip address on my home PC?

What do you mean by "hard coded"? If you go to Network Connections and choose Properties for the device you're using to connect to the internet you can select automatically detect settings. But if you're using a router, that is the internet connection detector, and you have to make changes there. If you ISP assigned you an IP you have to talk to them.
