I changed ISP's from Timer Warner to Grande Communications. The technician forgot to bring a wireless router for my son's computer, and suggested I go and purchase my own, which I did. When I inserted the disk to install the Netgear router, a warning appeared saying it was shutting down the program to prevent damage to my computer. I immediately unplugged all the gear, and called Netgear Support. The man told me I needed to hook up all the devices again in order to help me. When I did, I saw that I had no D: or E: <drives> to run my cd or dvd roms. I have tried a lot of things to get them back, such as going into hardware device manager, and even running the OSD rescue disk. I'm not sure I did what I was suppossed to do when I ran it, never having done that before.
