no 3d accelerator?

umm i dont no if this topic is relavent to were i posted it but here i go... first i had a lot of spyware and stuff so i reformated my comp.. when i get it back and tryed to play cs.. it was very slow and couldnt change the direct 3d to open gl.. i have a radeon 9600 xt. i tried to dl the driver from the ati website, it worked.. but then randomly my screen would just flicker out and it wouldnt work until i rebooted.. how do i fix this no 3d accelertor problem? :tazz:

Click "Start" > "Run..." > Type in "dxdiag" > Navigate to "Display" tab > enable "Direct 3D acceleration" if its disabled > in the same window, click "Test Direct3D"

it doesnt even say disable.. it just ses not avalible.. and it wont even let me click on the direct 3d test

i doesnt even say i have a video card... but i do... does dat mean dat i have to reinstall the vid card?.. i thought that the only thing on the install disk was a driver... or am i wrong.. im desperate.. help plz
