Howdy All!

Please be gentle. It's my first time here :tazz:

On another forum I frequent, someone posted asking for help with a trojan. HiJackThis and help from you guys was a common suggestion. Although I don't think I have a trojan ( running AVG free and aVast plus adaware, spybot s&d on Firefox and Thunderbird), I'm paranoid and like to be proactive about things.

Soooooo, I found and downloaded HJT, scanned and saved a log file, and came here to request help from someone to review the log.

Is this an appropriate request? Should I go crawl under a rock and wait for my name to be called?

TIA
the rabbit, waiting for a response and instructions for submitting my HJT logfile

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

Sorry for wasting the bandwidth. Just learning my way around here.

Please put my request at the bottom of everyone's queue because, I don't think that I have a real problem. I'm only trying to stay ahead of the curve.
