Hello,
I have a three year warranty with an HP laptop. If it gets sent out for repairs 4 times I get a new computer. The warranty doesn't cover any software issues.
My dilemna is my warranty expires at the end of the month and I want to know if I should take it to the store. if it is a hardware problem i get a new compy, if it is a software problem I got a messed up compy with no warranty

whenever I listen to music or watch dvd the CPU usage is maxing out and the audio skips. This never used to be a problem, could this be the result of spyware or might it be a hardware problem?

thanks.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
