<_< I wanted to recover my computer, but I restored it back to original by mistake. I have a HP Pavilion 6355. When I did this something got screwed up with my USB Ports. I cant install my printer. My BIOS is 1.06. It doesnt have the Legacy tab for USB Ports in the setup. Can you help me? I have a cousin who is advanced in computers, but lives in another state. The HP support is taking forever to help me out. I need to reinstall these ports for my printer.

Thank you, Robin

Click Start, click Run, and then type devmgmt.msc. This will open the device manager. Does it display any items with a yellow question mark?

Yes I did have that, but I was told to remove it. Should I put it back?

Thank you, Robin

The question mark means Windows has identified some hardware, but doesn't know what to do with it. You may just need to download a USB driver from HP's website to enable your USB.

Next time you start your computer the hardware wizard should find the unknown device again. Then go to HP.com and see if you can locate a USB driver for your computer.
