Please reboot into safe mode (continually tap the F8 key while your system is starting, select Safe Mode from the menu). Run hijack this and remove all entries listed below:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Propel Accelerator] "@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[\]^_`abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz{|}~ ?"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Vshwin32EXE] C:\PROGRAM FILES\NETWORK ASSOCIATES\MCAFEE VIRUSSCAN\VSHWIN32.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [VsStatEXE] C:\Program Files\Network Associates\McAfee VirusScan\VSSTAT.EXE /SHOWWARNING
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [Vshwin32EXE] C:\PROGRAM FILES\NETWORK ASSOCIATES\MCAFEE VIRUSSCAN\VSHWIN32.EXE
O4 - Startup: Updates from HP.lnk = C:\Program Files\BackWeb\BackWeb\Program\backweb.exe
O4 - Startup: Lotus Organizer EasyClip.lnk = C:\lotus\organize\easyclip6.exe

Then open windows explorer and find all the files in bold and delete them.

C:\Program Files\BackWeb

Reboot normally and post new log with any information on this you have.

Do you use McAffee and Etrust? You only need one, I recommend uninstalling McAffee and updating etrust.

Hi Jonny,

I got down to open windows explorer and find all the files in bold and delete them.
I don't quite understand how to do this. Could you kind of walk me through this in a little more depth?

I'll wait to hear from you. Thanks again.

Did you find the files? If not, make sure they are not hidden. There are instructions for that further up in the post.

Once you find them, right click and hit delete. Then make sure you clean up your disc.

Hit start, programs, accessories, system tools, disc clean up. Make sure the boxes are checked and hit OK.

Hi coachswife,

I think you had me delete C:\Program Files\BackWeb earlier. Anyway, here is the newest scan. I can't find where McAfee might still be on my computer. I also am still having problems staying connected to the internet.

To locate the files it's like this for example:
c:\program files\backweb
You would double click your hard drive (c:\) then double click "Program Files" then scroll down to "Backweb" and right click the folder and click "delete". That simple.
Any more questions let us know.
