My Internet Explorer 6.0 w/SP2 unexpectedly closes when I press a link in a site to take me to another site. Specifically today, I was on www.shreveporthouses.com checking on real estate. When I pressed a button "Virtual Tour" I was popped out and IE closed. This has happened before but I just don't remember the specifics other than when try to access links within some sites IE closes without warning.

The link above works on my husband's computer. I compared his Internet Options/Advanced settings to mine and they are the same.

Any idea what can be causing this?

My IE is doing something similar. For example, I open IE and begin working in it; when I click a link to open in a new window the new window starts to open then takes over the original window. This causes me to lose the original web page I was browsing. The same thing happens when I attempt to open multiple IE's. Each time I try to open another IE window, it closes the original (1st) one and replaces it on the task bar. It pops up on the task bar but then slides over when the first window suddenly closes.

Any help in fixing this so I can open multiple windows would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email me at [email protected] with responses..thanks

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .
