I have restored all defaults in Internet Explorer as was suggested, and still I have blurry graphics. I have checked the help sections on Windows with no luck. I found that if i REFRESH PICTURE/REFRESH PAGE WITH FULL QUALITY the picture comes clear - but it's ridiculous to have to do that for all internet pages. Can someone help me?
thanks, Molly

I found your post trying to solve this same problem myself. I'm running WIN98 with Earthlink (accelerator) which is the problem. In order to load pages faster the images are compressed quicker (sans quality). If you're running Earthlink or another ISP Accelerator type program there should be options for it.

Earthlink Toolbar > Toolbox > Earthlink Accelerator > Accelerator Options > Graphics & Ads tab: 'Image Acceleration' set to low

Ultimately you want to set your Image Acceleration to the lowest possible setting which will provide graphics in their original quality(although it may take slightly longer to load).

WOW - you have totally solved my problem. What a relief. Now I can see pictures as they are supposed to be shown. I'm wondering if Earthlink's Total Access should not be renamed TOTAL CONTROL! Seems like it's been more headaches than help. Thank you SO very much for helping me with this problem. Happy Holidays to you. molly
