Systray is shown when I go to Ctrl Alt Delete, and there are some other programs I don't really know about too that have just seemed to always have been there and not have caused problems before today. Is Systray supposed to be there? Those programs, I don't know what they are, but I guess they're always running, though I don't open them myself, they just show up there... Uh, other programs that always show/ show now are Explorer, Ares, Viewmgr, Loadqm, Navapw32, Wlan_cfg, Qttask, Prezdownload, Systray, Starter. The next time the message shows I'll look for anything different or new. Are those programs okay to have though?

NO.. ARES is garbage and has probably loaded you down with malware which will be soaking up your system resources faster than anything else..
Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .
That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread
