Go to Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and remove the Google Toolbar. That seems to resolve the MS Visual C++ Runtime Error message and restore functionality to Internet Explorer.

I have just had the same problem with the Visual C++ Runtime Library error message on IE. Had tried everything then saw this site, registered and followed the advice to uninstall Google Toolbar and it worked! Thanks very much for the suggestion! :tazz:
