Well I have been dealing with the AVGold for the last couple days. I was pretty sure I could handle it by myself, but now I’m at a loss. I’m running a Windows me OS. I have run adware se, Cwshedder, super ad blocker, spybot s&d, and cleaned up my Hijack this log to the best of my ability. After this my desktop was blinking grey and white. So I downloaded “Avgoldfix(reg editor)” I rebooted in safe mode and ran the Avgoldfix, went to my control panel, display panel, at this point my instructions were to select the desktop tab (but there was no desktop tab) so I restarted my PC and to my surprise my display settings (screen area and color) are way off and now they will not change from 640x480 and 16bit color. I am going to post my Hijack this log here and hope someone can help me. If you need any more info let me know…
