I am trying to install PCLinuxOS on my hard drive but it has to run from the cd but my DVD drive isn't fast enough and it won't install. Is there anyway to speed up the drive or send all the files to the hard drive and boot from there and install from there.

Hello,

Would you be able to provide a bit more information about what errors or error messages you are getting during install / live CD bootup? I am not sure what you mean by your DVD drive not being fast enough?

Cheers,
Tom
