Hi Logan,

Please continue with this. We will consider repair install later on.


Please insert the Windows XP CD in your CD drive.

Click on Start ---> Run. Type in -

sfc /scannow

This will check all your core system files and replace them if they are corrupted or missing.

Let me know how it goes.

Sorry for not being able to reply. Still no cd, the cd I was going to get was for dells only, and my warrenty is up on my computer, Thanx for all you help though. my computer has been running alot better since we did what we did. Ill post somthing to when I do get the xp cd and do the sfc scan, but you can go ahead and close the forum if you like. thanks again Tampa
