First of all I have an Exchange 2000 server and all of the mail is hosted on the server. No PST's.

I added an additional mailbox in my Outlook by going to the Advanced tab and clicking 'add'.

Later on after adding it and removing it as needed, it seems that that mailbox loads signifigantly faster once it has been added the first time.

That makes me think that it is somehow stored locally. I find it hard to believe that it is stored in my personal .ost.

Does anyone know where this may be stored.
Thanks!
