I was recently infected with the about: blank - startpage-du.dll.
i am a novice when it comes to computer systems but understand what the
basic principals w/ operating systems. I have read some of your responses
and am very impressed and glad that your are available to help people.


when i start up my system i first get the about blank home page. i click out
of it. but my system has window anti spyware beta 1, mcafee latest
virus /antispyware edition. cool web shredder and spybot.
all of these program i run , but to no avail. I keep getting window messages
that want to install url programs and pop ups constantly.

what do i need to do to get started. please help
