I like Firefox, you don't HAVE to download the plugins, and unlike Opera, it doesn't come with a banner. (Though some of the plugins are nice... I have GoogleLite and a different theme...) Other than tat, the only major plugins you'll have to get are Flash and Java. And it'll prompt you for that the 1st time you hit a page that requires it.

I like using netscape sometimes. Great browser for my little about-to-be-trashed-laptop.

Firefox, because it's free and it's great! You will love tab browsing and extensions. I only use 4 extensions out of probably hundreds available. There are no popups and spyware has a more difficult time getting in. I NEVER USE IE anymore! Period!!

Opera is the most secure, but it costs money unless you're willing to view ads.

Check out Secunia.com. Near the top of the screen you can compare the relative securtity advisories by browser. Pretty cool site!

FIREFOX ALL THE WAY!!! :tazz:

Firefox all the way, tabbed browsing alone is enough to win me over, but add more security, abundent plugins and ease of use and it's a win win win

See sig for link!
