I searched to see if this was availablealready and had no luck.

If I upgrade the processor on my PC and have Windows XP , will I have to re-install XP or do anything other than the upgrade itself? I don't have the XP disk anymore and would like to know what to prepare for. Thank you.

:tazz: Meaning the CPU? ;)

;) If so, you can upgrade the CPU, BUT if need to have a mother board that is able to use it.

For example, you have an 32 bit CPU, and want a 64 bit CPU. Then you will need to by a new mother board that would be able to use that proccessor.
