What are WMD drivers?

Hi

Does anyone know what WMD drivers are and if it is necessary to install them.

I bought a new graphics card and installed the drivers for it, but there is a seccond option to install WMD drivers - the instructions dont mention them.

My card works fine without them, just wondered what they are and if they make my card run better.
