Topic pretty much tells all.

I used Ewido (recommended during another event being resolved on your forums) during the resolution phase of correcting my malware/adware/spyware drama recently. The product found considerably more items than Ad-Aware. Spybot, and Microsoft's antispyware program.

At $29.95, the cost is not that big a deal as long as the product performs.

Are there other products you would recommend?

I usually don't recommend buying any programs if they can be had for free. Since Ewido has a free edition, I suggest using that also. But if you want to support them and have other features in the paid version, then feel free to buy it from them.

Keep in mind though that each program has it's own strengths and weaknesses. When we asked you to use Ewido, it might have caught only certain types of infections. Other antivirus programs may be able to detect and remove infections that Ewido will miss and vice-versa.

There are some more free programs to prevent spyware that I recommend:

To help prevent future spyware installations/infections, please read the Anti-Spyware Tutorial and use the tools provided.

Are there any problems now? If not, you should be set to go.
