Ok, it seems now that I have unearthed a new problem. Can someone explain to me why my computer suddenly won't show animated images or even save them as .gif or .jpg? I don't know what happend, but it was working just fine and now I cannot save images that I receive in forums, that are posted publicly, to save like the person that created these images as a .gif intended them? The person that creates them uploads them as a .gif and on their computer it shows that is what it is, but on my computer, EVERYTHING is coming up as a .bmp image and not as a .gif. I hate .bmp's!!! I don't want them on my puter! So how can I change whatever setting to get back what I once had and now no longer do not?
Thanks for any help!
Silver

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. I suspect that some malware changed IE to do this. I suggest working through the malware removal guide. See the link at the top of this forum where it says "Do you suspect a malware (Spyware, Virus, Trojan) infection? Please Start Here. " This enables folks to solve most problems on their own. If you still have trouble after that, post a hijack this log in the malware forum at

Thank you Austin O! I didn't even think of it being malware!!! I'm sorry I posted wrong. Please forgive me!

And to Murray:
I have Webroot Washer on here, I have the C Cleaner also. I regularly go into internet options and delete everything! Cookies, offline content, history, etc.! So, thank you, but I'm a step ahead of you. It may seem that because I am here, I am stupid or something, but I am not. It appears that most peeps that I know come to me for help with their own pcs. That is why I have come to you guys, cuz I can't figure this one out. THanks for the tip anyways.
