I am having real problems!! For the last week or so everytime i start my computer up a huge notice comes up on my desktop "Critical Warning' "system has been stopped due to a serious malfunction. Spyware activity has been detected" "It is recommended to use spyware removal tool to prevent data loss" "Do not use the computer until all spyware has been removed" Then the spysherrif thing statrts scanning my computer and tell me to go online to purchase something or other. The only way I can get the scanning to stop is to go ctrl alt delete and 'end task' it.Then go into add/remove and renove it but I am still left with the "critical warning" box on my desktop and no way of removing it. I have AVG anti virus which hasn't helped. I downloaded spybot-search and destroy and tried that but spysherrif is still there (I don't even know what it is). I am sooooo frustrated!!
I'm sorry if I haven't done this properly-don't know much about what I'm doing :tazz:

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
