"Tools" -> "Options" -> General - tab -> Home Page.
Enter the url you want to be your starting page with Firefox.

I don't exactly know what you're meaning with "look like ie" ..
If you could just clarify a little.

Firefox is like IE. It's a net browser. You can do the same things in it as you did in IE, though it's faster & not to mention - a lot safer.

You don't have google toolbar on it?

Weird. I have it on my firefox, and it has been there since I started using it.

Yes, you can add it!
Go -> "Tools" -> "Extensions" -> Click on "get more extensions".

It will open a new window for it.. Then there's huge selection of different extensions you can get.
Then just search for Google toolbar.

Check out the other extensions too.
You'll need to re-launch FF when you have installed the toolbar in order to get it work.

Also, I recommend checking the Themes - tab at "Tools" - menu. Click on "Get More Themes". And it will do the same thing as for extensions. It will give you a selection of themes you can get to make your firefox look better...

And as I said, you can do almost anything as you did on IE. There IS few pages which don't work on Firefox, but I haven't bumped into those yet. (and I don't need them either.)

rawe- thank you very much for your help, i have it set up now.

If yo have any other tips or tricks, please let me know!

seems like the only ting i lost was an auto fill icon on ie, it stored your info, and when youwent to a website that asked for your info it would fill it in with a press of a button.

anyway, thanks again

Go to "Tools" -> Privacy - tab -> Saved form information.

There is other settings too, such as cookie's and others.
See from there ;)

Firefox does have the autofill.
