Hello! Looking for any assistance with ridding the Aurora Virus from my computer. My operating system is Windows XP. About six weeks ago, after months of having the Aurora pop-ups, my Internet Explorer would no longer stay open After about a split second, it would just close up. At that point, I loaded AOL onto get internet access. I've been able to access the internet, but I still have the Aurora pop-ups with just about every navigation to a different site. About a month ago, I tried an Aurora removal zip file that was recommended on one of the forums, and it seemed like it stopped the pop-ups for a few hours...but then they came back. And at no time have I been able to get Interet Explorer working again (as well as Netscape...which I had downloaded when I was able to access the internet again via AOL...Netscape crashes just as Internet Explorer does). Any assistance would be great! My e-mail address is [email protected]
