I want to reinstall windows, but i have files on here I don't want to get erased, and my cd burner does not work, and the files are to big for a floppy disk. any suggestions?

Howdy:

Well, based on your explanation I can see two possibilities..

1: Slave your hhd to another system and pull those files over that way (the other system may have to take ownership) or;

2: network your system to another with a simple LAN and move them that way..

Either which case, just reverse the procedure once your system is back up and running!!
