I am trying to delete out some adware files, however, when I try I get an error message saying that access is denied and also says to make sure the disk is not full or write-protected. How do I get around this and delete the adware off of my computer? Thanks for the help!!!! :tazz:

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

Do what gerryf says, but you can also click on the Properties box of a file and change it from read only. However there may be a right protected copy in your restore so that doesn't always help.
