I have 2 profiles on one computer running XP.
When I delete a desktop Icon from one profile it is removed from the other one as well.

Is there any way to keep this from happening?

Thanks.

Maybe the icons were in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop instead of C:\Documents and Settings\Flynn\Desktop

Make sure that the icons are not in C:\Documents & Settings\All Users\Desktop.

Thank you for the replies.

I had made some changes to the users folders, permissionwise. Your suggestions caused me to go back and look at it in a different way, moving the icons into my own folder instead of deleting them or copying them out of the all users folder.

Thanks very much.
