Hello,

Hope I am posting in the correct forum. My problem: Everytime I want to print and go to the Properties/Preferences Menu, the Media Type is set to "Photo Paper Pro". If I click on the default button, it changes the Media Type to "Plain Paper" - which is what I want as my default. However, when I go back to the Properties/Preferences Menu, the Media Type is always changed back to "Photo Paper Pro" - despite that it is not the default. Please help. This is bugging the heck out of me.

Much thanks.

Canon MP750. It's an all-in-one scanner/printer/copier. I thought maybe it was classified somewhere as a photo printer - and this was why the media type kept being set as "photo paper pro". It's not that great of a photo printer - I want to use it to print black & white documents on plain paper.
