Last night my computer restarted while I was in dreamweaver but never completed the boot. After about 45 seconds, I received a pop up error messages which reads:

LSASS.exe Unable to locate component

This appliation has failed to start because DNSAP.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I am unable to start in safe mode or do anything else but look at a black screen with an error message. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

Welcome to GTG.

Not sure if this is spyware related but that DNSAP.dll file sounds suspicious.

OK, let's try this. Boot up with your Windows XP CD. Let it load. Enter Setup (hit ENTER key). Choose to repair Windows.

See if that will fix this up.
