Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me. A couple of days ago I found Adware.BetterInternet, I have Norton Internet Security, and it would give me lots of pop ups, with THNALL1AC.exe, AURARECO.exe, UZQVHHUSY.exe trying to get in my computer. I then read a few things in the forum, downloaded Nailfix, Ewido and Hijackthis. In Safe mode, I ran Nailfix, Ewido and deleted a few things in Hijackthis. I am not getting those popups anymore, but now Norton says it found Adware.Istbar (I think in Internet Temp files), I tried cleaning with Norton, but I dont think it is getting rid of it. I also have this "The Abi Network" thing in my Add/Remove Programs, and I am scared of downloading its unistall program. I also downloaded Add-Aware SE, and it is finding lots of things, but it just freezes up before finishing when it says "Scanning Browser Cache". My computer is also really slow, CPU usage going to 100% with not much being used. Is my computer really messed up !? Thanx for any help.

Following is a copy of Hijackthis:

Howdy and welcome to G2G:

At the top of every page in every forum is a message: If you suspect you are infected with malware, please START HERE !! The Start Here is a link to where you are supposed to post your HJT log!! :tazz:

Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
