Using freeware on Server 2K

I have Win2K server @ home. The server is starting up slow. Is there any cons to using Hijack this and adware on a server O/S. All my other Pc's @ home work great because I use such software.

No the software should work fine, I would also suggest Spybot and M$ AntiSpyware.

There is only so much you can do with 2000 but, a automatic defragmenter like Diskeeper should make a difference.
