Hello again liloltiredblood. Your log looks ok to me. Just one thing to fix: Looks like you may have cut the end off in pasting it here, but you could loose it anyway

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

O16 - DPF: {f760cb9e-c60f-4a89-890e-fae8b849493e} -

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. <_<

Your log looks clean. See what further scan results say and let us know what happens. It could be your system restore.

To reset your restore points, please note that you will need to log into your computer with an account which has full administrator access. You will know if the account has administrator access because you will be able to see the System Restore tab. If the tab is missing, you are logged in under a limited account.

1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

I ran TrendMicro and also clicked on "AutoClean" and than while scanning that AVG Virus Popped up and said that I had a Trojan Virus. After I ran TrendMicro I ran AVG Anti-Virus and it said I had no virus's.

I am not sure how to run in Full System Administrator access. I will run AVG once more and see if anything came up, unless if the TrendMicro got rid of it. And will let you know how things went.

I do have one more problem that I have just noticed lastnight as well, I can not play a CD in makes a funny noise and wont play at all I even tried opening the WIndows Media Player to play the cd but it wont. I can play the songs I have in my Windows Media Player but not with the CD. What could be the problem? <_<

thanx

For administrator access you can check and modify this in control panel, user accounts.

As for the Media player you can check the settings by right clicking in the open program and select tools, options. If you go to the devices tab you can add your cd hardware in here. If it's not there already. In which case go to the file type tab and look to enable CD playback

Ok, use IE and run this symantec scan.

http://security.nort...id=ie&venid=sym

It doesn't fix anything, but at the end of the scan you can click another tab to get the details and it will tell you the location of the virus. Copy and past those locations here.
