I tried to format the partition using the NTFS fil system (quick) but it says that it can't setup windows xp b/c the NTFS file system may be damaged. How can i fix that?

And if its damaged, I have to use the FAT file system, but I read that it isn't as stable as NTFS.

And why is it that when i try to fully format my NTFS or FAT file systems, it stops at 6% and never continues...despite being left alone for 24 hours?!?!

You guys may be getting tired of me and my laptop hehe. I'm sorry. I don't know how it got this way.

Thanks in advance. :tazz:
